Martha found in the land records, residing in Simsbury, Hartford, Conn. and
married (2) abt 1723, Major Abraham Sydervelt (Attorney for the copper mines of
Simsbury) probably at New Rochelle, Westchester, N.Y. No death records have
been found for her at this time (1993). It appears she either died in Simsbury
around 1747, or left the area, because there are no more land records
for her after 17 Nov. 1747. Her son Ambrose Ladou is in the land
records until 1751 at Simsbury. (She isn`t buried by Major Sydervelt in the
cemetery at Simsbury.) They could have gone back to New Rochelle, Westchester,
N.Y., or to Dutchess, N.Y., where other sons Stephen and Pierre Ladow were
living.
Note: Martha made a will at New Rochelle in 1714 after her husband died, which
named all of her children. Most researchers have assumed that she died at this
time in New Rochelle, but not so. Parents: Benjamin Annereau and Susanne ,Chenau Cheneau.
