Sarah Virginia Casteel (b. May 03, 1866, d. June 23, 1927)

Sarah Virginia Casteel (daughter of William Casteel and Emaline Williams) was born May 03, 1866 in Cass Township, Ohio, and died June 23, 1927 in Eagle Township, Ohio. She married Harvey L. Bare on February 25, 1883, son of Joseph Bear and Eve Beamer.

DEATH SUMMONS MRS. H.L. BARE

Lifelong Resident of Hancock County Expires - Funeral to be Tomorrow.

Mrs. Sarah Virginia Bare, 61, a life long Hancock County resident, died of complications at 7 o'clock yesterday morning at her home in Eagle Township. she had been seriously sick for several days.
Funeral Services will be conducted from the First Chruch of Christ at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, with Rev. W. Grant Ward officiating. internment will take place in Mapel Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Bare was born May 3, 1866, in Cass Township, the daughter of William and Emaline Casteel. She was married February 25, 1883 to Harvey L. Bare, who survives.
nine Children were born to the union, eight of whom survive. They are Lloyd, of Eagle Township; Charles and Rolland, both of Findley; Marcella, of Cleveland; Mrs. D.C. Berry, Findley; Mrs C. W. Shireman of Jackson Township; Mrs Harold Hubbard of Fostoria, and Jennie, Living at home. One daughter, Hattie, died in infancy.

One brother, Walter Casteel, of Vanlue, and two sisters, Mrs. Isaac Moore, of Toledo, and Mrs Andrew Good, of Loberty Township, also are living.

Mrs. Bare was a member of the First Church of Christ, and was also a member of the W.C.T.U. and the Pleasant Grove Ladies Aid Society.

Her Mother, Mrs. Emaline Casteel survives in the home in Eagle Township. Ten Grandchildren and one Great grandchild also survives.
