William Henry Heath (son of Emanuel Heath and Sarah Carroll) was born March 24, 1845 in Butler County, Ala, and died March 12, 1889 in Crenshaw County, Ala. He married (1) Georgina Hasteline Calloway on March 18, 1866 in Butler County, Ala, daughter of Claborn Calloway and E. F. Unknown. He married (2) Matilda Cook on November 18, 1869 in Butler County, Ala.

William Henry Heath, joined Spring Hill Church, June 25, 1881. William Henry Heath ordained a Deacon into the Spring Hill Church, April 22, 1882. William Henry had two wives and four of his 12 children, John, Emanuel, Lula L. and Annie Lee are buried in Black Rock Cemetery, 10 miles north west of luverne, Ala. Effort is now being made to identify them and markers put on the graves.
Williams Tombstone, says that he went back to Georgia to enlist with the Confederate Army, to fight in the Civil War.

Black Rock Primitive Baptist Church gets its name from a old black rock nearby. It is located at the corner of County Road 40 and Hickory Grove Road on the edge of Crenshaw County near Butler County, North of Highway 10, between Luverne and Greenville, Alabama.
