Miles Heath (son of Isaac Heath and Unknown) was born May 12, 1819 in Habersham County, Georgia, and died February 07, 1901 in Alston, Barbour County, Ala. He married Jennet Jane Carroll on September 15, 1842 in Barbour County, Ala, daughter of Willis Carroll, Sr. and Margaret Unknown.

Miles married Jennet Jane Carroll, Sarah's sister. Another sister, previously mentioned, Margaret married Nathan Horn. the Carroll sisters were the daughters of Willis and Margaret Carroll. Willis died before the children were grown. Apparently Jennet went to live with Nathan and Margaret Carroll Horn. Jennet is even buried under the Horn name at Antioch Primitive Baptist Church. Just north of Texasville, Alabama. Nathan and Margaret Horn had seven children who married into Price, Parmer, and Bass families in Barbour County, Alabama.
Jennet had eight Carroll siblings. She and Miles Heath had eleven children. Each of their children carry a given name identical to her Carroll siblings.
Catherin Elizabeth "Kitsey" Carroll, married William Baxley. They had at least eight children. Kitsey and Bill are buried at Antioch as well.
Henry Carroll, brother of the Carroll sisters, was twice married and had seven children between the two wives. He died as a CSA prisoner and is buried at Camp Chase. OH Grave Mark No. 1505 Grave 20, Row 33.
The Clayton Record: Thursday, February 14, 1901:
"Mr. Miles Heath, and old citizen of Alston in Barbour County, Alabama died Thursday (previous) from La grippe."
