Charles JARRELL⁽¹⁾ was born on 1 Jan 1930 in Hazel Valley, Washington Cnty, AR.. He died on 3 Jul 1968. He moved to Forest Grove, Oregon in the Spring of 1936 with his family. He served in the U. S. Army between 1946 and 1949. He recieved Basic Training atFort Lewis Washington, then spent 19 months in Alaska.
He worked at the Stevenson Plywood Co-ply Co. in Washougal. Washington was a tall, quiet, friendly, and very gentle man. He loved to play the guitar and sing.
On the 3rd of july 1968 the family was walking along the beach at the mouth of the Columbia River when a wave caught Thomas and Connie. Charles and Connie died in the recue attempt. Thomas was rescued by another man. Parents: George JARRELL and Grace PASHELL.

Chris was born in West Virginia and came to Hazel Valley, Arkansas in his late teens. He and Flora came to California and Oregon in 1925 and then went back to Arkansas. He returned to California again in 1936. Later, during World War II, he and his family came to Hillsboro, Oregon and he worked in the ship yards. His brothers, Walter, George, and Flora's brother Lloyd Anderson were already there.
Chris was a pleasant good tempered man who worked for Washington County after the War. Flora Worked at the cannery for several years although in those days, washing, ironing, cleaning, raising a big garden, and canning was a full time job at home. lora's elderly Mother, Mrs. Anderson, lived with them for many years.
Chris an Flora attended the Four Square Church in Hillsboro.

Daniel JARRELL⁽¹⁾ was born in 1745 in Orange, Culpeper, Cnty, VA.. (1757 ?) He died in 1804 in Monroe Co., WV..
Daniel Jarrell, after his marriage to Mary, lived for about ten years in the part of Culpeper Co., VA., that became Madison Co., VA. in 1792/3. They settled on fifty acres of land purchased 18 March 1786 Blaine Ballard. They lived there until 16 June 1786 when they sold their land to Benjamil Quinn and moved their family to what is now Monroe Co., WV. and settled on 280 acres of land on Indian creek, obtained from Benjamin Harvey. One wonders why they changed their minds in three months and moved on to WV.. Another tax list shows Daniel Jarrell in 1787 owning 50 acres in Madison Co., VA..
The will of Daniel Jarrell (Gerold, Gerrold) born in 1757 (1745?) died in 1804, former resident of Madison Co., VA. as leaving his land there to William Jarrell in 1795.
Previously Daniel Jarrell (Gerold, Gerrold) born in 1757 (1745?), first appeared in Orange Co., VA. (possibly he was born there), and lived in Augusta, Rockingham Co., VA. when he was called to serve in the Revolutionary War. He went to Kentucky and signed his service record Daniel Fitz Jarrell. However, I (ANNA MAE WAMBAUGH JARRELL) believe clerks in those days were careless in their spelling and it also appears as Daniel Gerald.
Daniel Jarrell, while in Madison Co., VA., went to the Baptist Church, farmed and owned four slaves.
Daniel Jarrell died in 1804 in Monroe Co., WV. and is though to have been buried near his home place on Indian Creek. His widow Mary died some time after the census enumeration’s of 1810 at which time she was shown as the head of household. Her son John, who was the last of her children to marry, is living in the household with her. Also in the household is Mary, her youngest child.. Parents: James JARRELL Sr..

Elijah JARRELL⁽¹⁾ was born in 1832. (1828 ?) (25 Feb 1831 ?) He died on 29 Jan 1853. Parents: Simeon JARRELL and Elizabeth MILLER.

Elijah JARRELL⁽¹⁾ was born in 1774 in Culpeper Cnty, VA.. He died in May 1860.
Elijah Jarrell was still a young man when the family moved to Monroe Co. and settled on Indian Creek. He grew up on his father's farm. He married Agnes Dick, daughter of David Dick. Later records show that the name of his wife was Nancy. It is possible that her name was Nancy Agnes, or he might have married twice. Their bondsman was Lemuel Jarrell. My (ANNA MAE WAMBAUGH JARRELL) records show that Elijah moved his family to Boone Co., WV., and settled on Pond Fork of Little Coal River above the present town of Bim, between 1815 and 1820. This was after he had stayed near his aging parents to help them with the farm. When his father died, Elijah was named by the court to help Gibson and their brother in law, John Harvey , administer his goods and chattel. Parents: Daniel JARRELL and Mary TERRY.

George JARRELL⁽¹⁾ was born between 25 Mar 1816 and 1826. He died on 13 Jul 1848. Parents: Simeon JARRELL and Elizabeth MILLER.

Gibson JARRELL⁽¹⁾ was born in 1773. He died on 1 Nov 1862. Gibson was a 220 pound giant who towered six feet, nine inches tall and was considered to be the champion fighter of Monroe County, West Virginia. In a match at Peterstown, Virginia, he fought Tom Cooke of Giles County, Virginia for the championship Tom supposedly won the fight, but this was disputed by later generations of the Jarrell family.
Gibson and Sarah have nine children attributed to them. They eventually settled at Clear Creek on the Big Coal River at the mouth of the Sycamore Creek in or next to Boone County, West Virginia.
