Jacob MILLER Sr.⁽⁷⁹⁾ was born in 1702 in Germany. Jacob came to America in 1715 with his parents. He married a German Girl also named Miller but not related to him. Jacob and his family went southwest along the southern fringes of the Allegheny mountains, finding their way into the Shenandoah Valley, making their home in the fertile valley near the present town of Harrisonburg, in Rockingham County, VA. where he settled and reared his family.

Jacob MILLER Jr.⁽¹⁷²⁸⁾ was born in 1726 in Faulkner's Swamp, PA. He died on 13 Apr 1806 or 1808 in Rich Creek, Lindside, Monroe Cnty, WV.. Jacob died in peace with God and man, and he was buried on his farm. Jacob was a member of the church most of his life, and his home was always for Methodist preaching. He and his wife joined the M. E. Church under Robert Chambers in 1806 Parents: Jacob MILLER Sr. and MILLER.

Miller in his genealogy of Jacob Miller and his descendants but he also lists them as sons Jacob of John Jr of John Sr.. This where I believe they belong.
