22. ? EVANS Mr. died in 1920 in Dale, Wales, United Kingdom. The father of this family was a policeman and died in the early 1920's.

23. ? EVANS Mrs. died in 1890. The mother of this family died in 1890 of typhoid fever leaving 9
children the youngest being Thomas aged 4 months. Sarah Jane was 8
years old. Children were:

child11 i. Sarah Jane EVANS.
child ii. David EVANS. He was married and had some children. One daughter went to the U.S.A.
child iii. John EVANS has reference number Evans. Married but had no children. He lived in Ysrradgynais, Swansea valley. He
was employed in the coal industry.He worked at the Pit heads at jobs
such as winding machine operators.
child iv. Ruth EVANS. Married but died young leaving several children.
child v. Charlotte EVANS. She married and died young leaving 3-4 children. She married a man who
was emplyed in the coal industry. His last name is thought to be Harries.
child vi. Rhoda EVANS. She remained single and became a Roman Catholic. She was the
housekepper to a Roman Catholic priest in Tenby, Wales and died there.
child vii. James EVANS. Married and had 4 children Dilys, Garfield, John, Mary.
He was employed for many years in the Pembroke Dockyard in office
work.

(His son John was the father of Anne Evans who married David Brian
James, son of Elizabeth (Lily) Evans, who was sister to Mary Evans, who
was the father of George Armstrong who was the father of Daniel
Armstrong (#1).
child viii. Mary Anne EVANS has reference number EVANS. Her husband died in the Swansea Valley area and mary Anne returned to
Pembrope Ferry with her baby daughter named Charlotte (Lottie
Williams). She was only 29 and never married again. She cared for her
father until he died in the early 1920's.
child ix. Thomas EVANS. Thomas lived in the Swansea valley area and was employed in the coal
industry.He worked at the pit heads at jobs such as winding machine
operators.
