She died on 3 Nov 1938 in Harrington West, Argenteuil, QUE. She was buried on 5 Nov 1938 in Rivington, Argenteuil, QUE. She was christened. !Sometimes spells surname as "McCain". Appears as McKane on birth certificate of Annie Christine Welburn. Information from Robert Welburn: Adopted by George Ward, Rivington who was also married to a sister of Jessie McKane's mother.[See following note!!!]

According to the 1891 Census for Harrington Twp. Argenteuil Co., a Jessie appears as a daughter of John & Mary Ward whereas she did not appear as such in the 1881 census. Robert WELBURN and Jessie MCKANE had the following children:
