14. Robert MCCAIN was born about 1854 in , Prescott, ONT. He died about 1913 in , ONT. ! On 1861 & 1871 Census for East Hawkesbury Prescott Co. appears as a son, but does not appear on the 1881 census, thereby lending credence to his fathering Jessie in 1878

The 1860 Agricultural census reported the McCain family had a 50 acre farm (value $800.00) of which 9 acres was under crops, 6 acres under pasture and 35 acres under wood or wild. He was married to Mary MCLEOD in 1877 in Caledonia Springs, Prescott, ONT.

15. Mary MCLEOD was born about 1858 in Caledonia, Prescott, ONT. She was buried about 1918 in , ONT. She died. She was christened. Children were:
