VA. Vol., Co. C, Private] discharges at Camp Lee. Occupation farmer.

He was married to Anna Maria HOLLAND before 1868.^{(1) (2)} Anna Maria HOLLAND ⁽¹⁾⁽²⁾ died about 1868. ⁽²⁾ She was buried in Copeland Cemetery, Buckhorn, Nasemond, VA.⁽²⁾ William Thomas COPELAND and Anna Maria HOLLAND had the following children:

11 ii. John J. COPELAND⁽¹⁾ was born on 3 Dec 1865. He died between 1870 and 1880.

He was married to Martha Ann TURNER (daughter of Sally [TURNER]) on 22 Feb 1877. ⁽¹⁾⁽²⁾ Martha Ann TURNER was born about 1853.⁽²⁾ She was buried in Copeland Cemetery, Buckhorn, Nasemond, VA. ⁽²⁾ William Thomas COPELAND and Martha Ann TURNER had the following children:
