John HOLLAND Jr. (1) was born about 1616 in London, Lancastershire, England.(1) He died about 1710 in Suffolk, Nansemond, VA.(1) A note in the Matthew de Holland database states the following: John Holland, Sr. was one of the three original Holland's in Nansemond County, Virginia in 1704. The others included brothers Henry Holland who owned 400 acres, Joseph Holland who owned 100 acres, and John Holland who owned 700 acres. (page 28) Holland: To Those Who Care.
(I question that this information belongs with this person. I believe that it belongs with his sons in the next generation. Brothers Henry, Joseph and John are sons of John Holland, Jr. - Meredith Russell Butler, Sr.).

He was married to Elizabeth Mary OUDELANT (daughter of Cornelius OUDELANT and Elizabeth [OUDELANT]) after 1633 in Dorchester, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.(1) Elizabeth Mary OUDELANT was born about 1637 in Isle of Wight County, VA.(1) She died date unknown in Nansemond County, VA.(1) Capt. John HOLLAND Jr. and Elizabeth Mary OUDELANT had the following children:
