My uncle O'Donval Young Cundiff has researched the William Young Cundiff family with a great deal of success.
David Wickliffe - Immigrant to Maryland 1635-1636. He died 1643 in Prince George County. His wife was Jane Rokeby and they married in England.

Bryan Young Cundiff, married Margaret Wickliffe the daughter of Robert Wickliff and Sarah Jane Kincheloe. Their son was the first William Young Cundiff.

In Northumberland County, Virginia, Richard Cundiff's will was proved on March 18, 1723. His heirs were children Mrs. Ealie Conry and Richard Cundiff, and granchildren Richard Cundiff and Issac Cundiff.

My mothers family has been difficult to trace on her fathers side of the tree. Her father was Claudis James the son of Richard James in Centertown Kentucky. Claudis's mother died when Clauds was about four years old and her name was Iola Beatrice Benton.

We are anxious to hear from anyone having information on these ancestors.
