Jacob was married once before Eva and her name is unknown. We have a story that was handed down to us that his first wife gave birth to 1 son called Jack and that when Jacob went into the Military during the Civil war she did not hear from him for a very long time and at one time from somewhere felt he was killed. So, she re-married. When Jacob returned from the war he felt there was nothing there for him in Pennsulvania and then moved on, which muct have been eventually to Wisconsin. As he did re-marry and joined the service in Wisconsin.
