Mary Cadotte (daughter of Michel Cadotte and Equawasay or Madeline) was born 14 Sep 1814, and died 21 Jul 1843. She married Lyman Warren, son of Warren Lyman and Whipple Mercy.

People," p.11], after Brunson, Rev. A.: she was three-fourths Indian. She was
an excellent cook, and a neat housekeeper, though she could not speak a word
of English; after Ayer, Mrs. Elizabeth: she was a woman of fine natural
abilities, a good mother, although without the advantages of any education.
They raised a large family. The children had, added to more than a common
intelligence, a large among of go-ahead-ativeness. She was a believer in the
Catholic faith She died at a place now known as Chippewa City, at the
Chippewa River Reservation in Wisconsin, on JUL 21, 1843, and the following
winter her husband took her remains to La Pointe for interment
