| I first became interested in geneology back in 1982 when my Father's sister, Aunt Betty Walker gave each of us a copy of the Walker Family tree tracing the line back to Ireland. She included some detailed information on the names of Walker, Keenan, and Blodgett and some minor information on the names of O'Sullivan, Timmons, Milliman, Townsend, Carson and Brown. I was always too busy to do any serious research until my husband, Charles Caylor and I were recently vacationing in Townsend, Tennessee and came across a graveyard full of Caylors. Since neither Charlie nor his family knew of any relatives that might have moved to Tennessee, we decided it was time to get back into geneology and research the Caylor and Rust family histories and I bought the Family Tree Maker program to help. I would also like to continue the Walker's geneology where Aunt Betty left off along with including my mother's side of the family, Hamm, Diseker and Kerr. I am very new at this and would appreciate any help possible to point me in the right direction. I am also willing to share any information I have with anyone who is interested. |
