Hi my name is Asher and I am a Leo born in the year of the dragon in 2000. I thought I would get a head start on the geneology competition by starting this site just after my one year birthday. My heritage is rich with a Jewish side that came to this country in 1844 and started Mossouri's famous Barth Clothing and Dry good stores and a Christian side that came over even earlier to escape taxation. I am related to the famous olympic skier Tiger Shaw, my grandfather Rabbi Jan Goldstein is the author of Miracle Moments (One chapter titled "The Liquid Nest" records my home water birth),A distant cousin Simon J. Arnold was the #1 Sergent on the Union side at Gettysburg, My Grandfather Richard Chase has written the lead article in the Harvard Review, My mother Batsheva Chase Was the #1 sales person out of 250 in 2000 for Culver Careers and also played the lead in the San Diego Playhouse version of "The Fantastix", My Great Grandfathers Hilton Wick and Louis Chase both served in World War II and my cousin Paul Samson works at the GAP and always gets me new clothes. My Dad wants me to start my search and focus mainly on the Arnolds, Barths, Ryders, Chaslofskys, and Levines before I get to the Wicks, Shaws, Goldsteins, Fosters, Butterfields etc. So if any names sound familar email my Dad Andrew Chase.
