He married RUTH WOOD September 10, 1731 in Springfield, New Jersey, daughter of ISAAC WOOD and SARAH FRENCH. She was born November 11, and died Bef. 1796 in New Jersey.

7 Feb 1745 George Holloway of Bethlaham, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, and Ruth Wood, his wife; sell to Yorkie Eike, 250 acres in Roxbury, Norris County, New Jersey, which he purchased to Thomas Scholey in 1735 for the sum of 170 pounds. (Trenton Deeds G.H. page 426)

Chesterfield marriage certificate, page 62; George HOlloway and Ruth Wood for Hunterdon and Burlington Counties New Jersey, were married at this meeting held in Springfield, 10 Sep 1731. Witness: (There were 29 witnesses at the wedding) Some of them were: John and James Holloway, Mary Wood, Caleb Shreve, John Warren, Joseph Arney, Samuel Stterwaite, Joseph Reckless, Richard French, and Francis Scholey.

1 Aug 1765, George Holloway had certificate of removal granted to Burlington Monthy Meeting New Jersey for himself and wife.
