5. ISAAC⁵ HOLLOWAY (GEORGE HOLLOWAY⁴ SR, JOHN HOLLOWAY³, THOMAS² HOLLOWAY, HENRY¹) was born October 25, 1735 in New Jersey, and died Abt. 1809 in Stafford County, Virginia. He married (1) MARY HAINES November 16, 1758 in New Jersey, daughter of NATHAN HAINES and SARAH AUSTIN. She died Bef. May 29, 1793. He married (2) UNKNOWN July 19, 1790. She died Unknown.

Notes for ISAAC HOLLOWAY:
We have very little on Isaac and his family. It would seem he was born in N.J. and lived there until 13 July 1779 when he was given a certificate for him, wife and children, from Hoddenfield M.M., New Jersey to Hopewell M.M., Frederick County, Virginia, where he presented his certificate on 14 June 1780.

Crooked Run M.M. Virginia was set up in 1782 from Hopewell M.M. and Isaac Holloway and familydoubtless resided within the limits of it at its beginning.

Also Isaac Holloway, Sr. is shown going to Bedford and Campbell Counties Virginia on a certificate from Crooked Run M.M. to the South River M.M. dated: 9 may 1793 with his minor children, Abneer and Sarah but his wife Mary was not listed, so may have died before this time.

Isaac's Will was recorded in Stafford County, Virginia in 1809, and it seemed to indicated he had married a second time?? Records indicated he married before 1800 and that they lived in Stafford County, Virginia until his death.
