She married John Forrest Edwards on April 18, 1910 in Blufton, Arkansas, son of John Henley Edwards and Cathryn (Cassie) Parrish.

Easter Cornillia Cleveland Edwards was her name. Almost everyone who knew her called her Neelie, in fact that was the name she used on some of the children's birth certificates. Hard work, a hard life, bearing 9 children and raising 8 of them (one died as an infant) all attributed to her early death. She died when I (Lawanna) was only 7 years old. Oh, how I wish she had lived to raise me, too!
