Calafiore, 2. The whole group was bound for Omaha to join relatives or
friends.
Antonino (Tony) was number six on the sixth list, age 30, married, occupation-
farmer lab. (an abbreviation for laborer), and he could not read or write. He
was listed as a non-immigrant alien and he had been in the U.S. before. He was
in Omaha in 1907 and 1908. He was going to join his brother-in-law Filadelfio
Calafiore at 410 S. 10th St, Omaha, NE. His health was good. His height was
five feet, five inches. He had a dark complexion with blond hair and sky
(blue) eyes. He was born in Siracusa, Carlentini.

Census cards for the family members were filed in alpha list under "Sim..".
The family's address was 616 Stuben, Sioux City, IA in Ward 3. Total earnings
for 1914 from occupation was $600. Tony had been in the U.S. for seven years
and in Iowa for three years but he was not naturalized. He did not own his
home.
