31. JOHN THORPE⁵ MARSDEN (GEORGE⁴, LUKE³, RICHARD², ROBERT¹) was born 1841, and died 21 June 1921. He married CHARLOTTE HARRISON, daughter of ? HARRISON and ? ?. She was born 1847, and died 20 January 1928.

Notes for JOHN THORPE MARSDEN:
When he married Charlotte they lived at the Blacksmiths Arms (1867), known in later years as the Coffee House.
They then moved to South Grove Farm in Crimicar Lane where the second child was born.
From there they moved to Crimicar Lane Farm where three more offspring were born.
From Crimicar Lane they moved yet again and this time into Derbyshire and lived at Cow Close Farm approximately half way between North Lees and the village of Hathersage. The last two of their seven children were born in Hathersage Parish. It is believed they moved once again and this time to Lord's Seat, Redmires, and back into the Fulwood Parish.
