Alexander Clegg (b. 06 Jun 1798, d. 16 Dec 1878)

Alexander Clegg (son of James Alexander Clegg and Nancy Agnes Biggs) was born 06 Jun 1798 in Mercer,,Pennsylvania, and died 16 Dec 1878 in ,Scott,Indiana. He married Hanah Robb on 08 May 1823 in Guernsey, Ohio¹, daughter of William Robb and Anna Neyman.

Notes for Alexander Clegg:
The name McMight bothers me some, in that there is suspescion that Alexander Clegg married a Hannah Robb Records show in the 1840 Guernsey County Virginia census, A, pg. 198, Alec to Hannah Robb 8 May 1823.

There are two names, Joseph P and Lavina Davidson which have come up under this family, however, I cannot confirm this. Some one told me that they thought this family had kept someones children for a time. Maybe these are the extra names.
