| I am researching my dad's Stahl family from Germany.... Karl Stahl arrived in the United States sometime in the late 1800's. His son was George Henry Stahl Sr., his wife was Georgia Chase, a full blood Cherokee from Oklahoma. His son George Henry Jr., his first wife Mary Irene Gerloff, my dad and his second wife Iola Olivia Hamilton my mother. I am adopted Clinton, my birth name is Stahl. It took me to my dad's 90th birthday to find him, so I have 52 years of research to catch up on. I am also researching my mother's Hamilton family from Ireland... David Hamilton from Ireland and his wife Mary Hughes, their son John Wesley Hamilton, his first wife Alpha Diane Rhodes,their daughter Iola Olivia Hamilton, my mother and her second husband, George Henry Stahl Jr., my father. Also, John Wesley Hamilton's second wife, Rena and their children, Mattie, Florine, Wayne, Betty Plunkett and Charles Hamilton. Any information would be appreciated and I would be willing to share in information that I have. |
