Notes for Robert Mc Conaughy:
Robert, born in Ireland, was of Scotch stock. He emigrated to Americawith his family in 1736. Landed at Chester, Pennsylvania, and settled in Menullen Township-Lancaster County (afterwards in 1749- York and since 1800 Adams County). He died at his homestead in Menullen Township, Sept. 9, 1758. He and his wife Elizabeth left 3 sons - David, Samuel and John, and 5 daughters.
