Bob was an eccentric auctioneer, who put a sign on his barn which read:
Lucky Bob from Ginger Hill
Never worked nor never will

His death was a suicide by overdose of Fowler's solution of arsenic and morphia
!BIR: Tombstone, Syracuse Cemetery states died 4-23-1879; age 57 yr., 9 mos.,
15 days, but census records indicate he would have been born in 1824 or 1825.
BURIAL: The inscription on Bob's tombstone is too worn to read in its entirety.
