-Died at 2:00 p.m. in James H. Peavler's residence at White Hall, near Willisburg
KY, where she spent her remaining years after her husband's death. When Janie
died, there were no coins available to put on her eyes to close them (as was
the prevailing custom), so Gene (Lula Mae) and one of her sisters had to hold
them closed until the eyelids stuck.

Cemetery, Cornishville KY. -Janie and Merritt lived near Cornishville KY near
Janie's parents. Neither Janie nor Merrit could read or write. In 1900, they
owned their farm mortgage-free. Children were:

Battle Baptist Church, Washington Co. KY; Rev. Jimmy
Sparks of Lexington officiated. Arnold's Funeral Home, Mackville, in
charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Everett Collier, Sabe Votaw,
Louis Harlow, Wilbert Gabhart, Winnie Darland, and Bryant Darland. At death,
had 11 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Mercer Co. KY. Funeral services held at Glave Sims Funeral Home. Nephews served
as
pallbearers. Farmed in Rose Hill area of Mercer Co. KY for many years before
he retired and moved to
Harrodsburg KY, where he lived on Daviess Street.

in Greenwood IN. Twin to Marcus; had twins himself. Had 12 children in all.
Farmed in KY and IN. Moved to farm near Greenwood, IN, in 1936 and lived at 736
Park Avenue, Greenwood, IN, in 1966, when Mary died.

the Stokely Packing Co. for many years. Parent of 4 living children and 3 who
died in childhood.

Twin to Willie J. Had 14 children, but only 4 survived. For several years,
Dellie and family resided in the Rose Hill Area on a farm located near Dixville
Road. She was a member of Bruner's Chapel Baptist Church at Rose Hill. At the
time of her death, Dellie resided on Cornishville Road in Harrodsburg.
