32 acres of land on west side of Chaplin Fork of Salt River, for $192.00. bounded
by Trace Creek.
-There are several transactions all on Trace Creek. In 1858 they sell land on
Hayden's Creek. In 1860, the Sallee family lived near Cornishville and owned
Sallee's Mill, the family's real estate being valued at $14,000 and personal
property at $3,400. John's occupation was listed in the 1860 Federal census
as farmer and keeper of the Poor House. He was married to Mary Elizabeth PEAVLER
on Jul 10 1828 in Mercer Co. KY.(360)
