8. Charles Edward LORING was buried in Mount Washington Cemetery, KCMO. He was married to Maude Matilda PETERIE.

9. Maude Matilda PETERIE was born on 18 Apr 1886. She died on 4 Dec 1959 in Chillicothe, MO. (2) Died from Uterine Cancer She was buried on 7 Dec 1959 in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Kansas City, MO. Maude ironed and crocheted for a living from her small trailer. Limosenes would drive up and rich couples would drop off their clothing for her to iron. She made syrupy peanut butter (to spread on bread) and delicious potato bread. The grandkids would spend much time with her cramped in the trailer.

Maude was married to Charles Edward LORING, who left her when she was pregnant with Charles Hiram, and took everything she had. She gave birth to Charles Hiram LORING in the home, and it left her severly ill, and crippled, with which she needed a walking cane.

She had a china head doll, in a handmade pink taffeta dress, that, on her dying bed, gave to granddaughter Sharon AUSTIN Feiser, and said, "Don't forget Gramma."

Maude didn't speak with her sister Lucy for over 40 years, until one day, they found out they were living next door to each other in an apartment quadplex. Children were:
