Thiensville Mill

Thiensville Mill
The Thiensville Mill, pictured in 1870, served the farmers of the Village of Thiensville, a part of the town of Mequon, as well as those of northern Milwaukee County and southeastern Washington County in the state of Wisconsin. This first mill which was burned out in a tragic fire in 1874, was built by my second great-grandfather, John Henry Thien in 1842.
