He served in the Revolutionary War in the South Carolina Militia under Col. Roebuck after the fall of Charleston. (A.A.1667; X3461;C.S.) and lived in Spartan burgh and Greenville Counties, South Carolina.
He moved to Kentucky, after he received a land grant for fighting in the Revolutionary War.
