| March 4, 2001 My great grandfather John Cushnaghan was born in Ballycastle Antrim County Northern Ireland est 1850-1870. My Grandfather William Irwin Cushnaghan was born in Ballintoy Antrim County narthern Ireland est. 1890-1900 and moved to Scotland at the age of 12-14 with an older brother. My parents, one sister and I moved to Canada in the late 1940's. Another sister was born in Canada in the early 1950's. From the information I have received so far, it appears that there is a possibility that the spelling of our family name may have been changed by some relatives after comming to North America, particularly the United States.
