Times-Press Compositor Was Employed by Firm 12 Years

Milton Gardner Ludlum, aged 24 years of 24 Grand avenue, an employee in the composing room of the Times-Press for the past 12 years, died Saturday afternoon at 2:10 o'clock of pneumonia. Mr. Ludlum had been in ill health for nearly a year.
He was born in this city in 1897, the son of George W. and Elizabeth Swinton Ludlum. In June 1920, he married Miss Ella Wilson, who survives him.
Mr. Ludlum attended the local schools and at the time of his death was employed as a compositor in the Times-Press. He was an active member of Wallkill Council, Jr. O. U. A. M., of this city.
During the war, he served for a year in the Merchant Marine Service.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth S. Ludlum, of this city; four brothers; Robert O., Officer G. Swinter, Frank M., all of this city, and
Reuben, of Los Angeles, Calif.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at his home, 24 Grand avenue. Rev. G. G. Welch, pastor of the Christ Universalist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Wallkill cemetery, Phillipsburgh.
