MONTICELLO Mrs. Alice Ogden, 80, of Monticello, died Wednesday in Middletown.
Born June 16, 1886, in Westbrookville, she was the daughter of Myer and Dora Arthur. She was married to Clarence Ogden, and was a longtime resident of Monticello.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Florence Manuel Cedeira and Miss Ella Ogden, of Monticello; one son, Norman, of East Hartford, Conn.; a brother,William Arthur of Yucapia, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 Friday in the Van Inwegen Funeral Home in Monticello, with the Rev. William Johnston officiating. Burial will be in Rock Ridge Cemetery, Middletown.
Friends may call at the funeral home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.

WALLINGFORD - Evelyn L. Ogden, 79, of the Masonic Geriatric Healthcare Center, formerly of Sarasota, Fla., died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 1997, at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Norman Ogden.
She was born in Atlanta, Ga., May 27, 1917, a daughter of the late John and Mattie Vishage Atkinson. Until her retirement, she was a manicurist at the G. Fox & Co. She was a member of the Bigelow Chapter 33, O.E.S., in East Hartford, and the Daughters of the Nile in Sarasota, Fla.
She is survived by three brothers, Calvin Atkinson of Mesa, Ariz., John Atkinson of Shirley, N.Y., and Glenn Atkinson of Locust Grove, Ga.; and two sisters, Dorothy Able of Sarasota, Fla., and Margie Ray of Cummings, Ga.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17, in the Masonic Home Chapel, Masonic Avenue, Wallingford. Burial will be at Rock Ridge Cemetery in Monticello, N.Y. The B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm St., is in charge of arrangements.

Sadie M. Ogden of Middletown, a retired custodian for the Middletown Board of Education and a lifelong resident of the area, died Friday, July 26, at Horton Memorial Hospital, Middletown. She was 67.
The daughter of the late George and Ida Mae Conkling Baker, she was born Feb. 24, 1924 in Goshen. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 544 and the Ladies Auxiliary of Phoenix Engine Co. 4.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Ogden, at home; a son, Tom Ogden of Middletown; a daughter, Debra Palmer of Middletown; two sisters, Ruth Baker of Circleville and Lillian Sniffen of Middletown; four grandchildren; a great-grandson; and nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, 72 West Main St., Middletown.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Peter A. Rustico will officiate.
