The papers state John W. Bolen did not have much property in his own right. However, his father was a man of considerable estate, both real and personal. Flora Bell's sisters, Clara D. Irvine and Elizabeth K. Richcreek provided depositions on her behalf.

Flora Bell died shortly after the birth of her daughter, Flora Belle, born March 17, 1910 near Annex, Augusta Co, Va. She is buried in Annex Church Cemetery beside her 3-year old son Lacy Daniel who died just six months after her.

Simeon N. Merritt, thirty-four Grant street, died yesterday at the Sanitarium.
Mr. Merritt, an auto mechanic, was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He was born September thirteenth, 1883, in Monticello, a son of Cornelius and Josephine Beach Merritt. He married Eva Smith April eighteenth, 1918 in Hurleyville.
Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mildred D., wife of Raymond Sigler of Middletown; two grandchildren, and a sister, Lila M., wife of Arthur Conklin of Middletown.
Funeral services will be held Monday at two p. m. at Hasbrouck's Chapel, with Elder Delmer P. Wood officiating. Burial will be in Wallkill Cemetery, Phillipsburg. Friends may call at the chapel Sunday evening. Parents: Cornelius Merritt and Josephine A. Beach.
