Mrs. Hester Chapman Ogden, of Otisville died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Martin Cuddeback, of Orange street, at 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, of heart trouble.
Deceased was born in the town of Wawayanda on April 19, 1839, and was the daughter of John Marsh and Lydia Chapman Marsh. In early life she was united in marriage with Andrew Jackson Ogden whose death occurred in 1916. For 35 years, she was a resident of Otisville.
The surviving relatives are two daughters, Mrs. Martin Cuddeback of Port Jervis, and Mrs. Benjamin Geary of Otisville, two sons, Smiley Ogden, of Middletown, and Ira Ogden, of Otisville, two granddaughters, Miss Ina Cuddeback and Mrs. Raymond Williams, both of this city. She is further survived by two great grandchildren.
A prayer service will be held at the house, 60 Orange street, at 12 noon on Sunday, April 10, for the immediate family and friends followed by further funeral service at 2 p.m. in the Otisville M.E. Church to be conducted by the Rev. Dr. E. F. Fowler and Rev. A. L. DeWire of Otisville. Interment will be in the Otisville Cemetery. Parents: John A. Marsh and Lydia Chapman.

Bolen (N. S. 600, Divorce Papers, Bolen vs. Bolen). In court papers Flora Bell declared John W. Bolen abandoned and deserted her at their home near Mount Solon less than a month from the date of their marriage. A daughter, Ruby Esther Bolen, was born from the marriage and John W. Bolen refused to provide any support for either Flora Bell or Ruby Esther. When the divorce papers were prepared for the Judge of the Circuit Court of Augusta Co., Va., Flora Bell had been on her own for three years and relied on the charity of friends. The papers state John W. Bolen did not have much property in his own right. However, his father was a man of considerable estate, both real and personal. Flora Bell's sisters, Clara D. Irvine and Elizabeth K. Richcreek provided depositions on her behalf.

Flora Bell died shortly after the birth of her daughter, Flora Belle, born March 17, 1910 near Annex, Augusta Co, Va. She is buried in Annex Church Cemetery beside her 3-year old son Lacy Daniel who died just six months after her.
