MIDDLETOWN--Estelle E. Edwards of Benjamin Avenue, a lifelong area resident, died Monday, Dec. 12, in the Orange County Home and Infirmary, Goshen, after a long illness. She was 68.
The daughter of the late Roland and Anna Folberth Betcher, she was born May 1, 1915, in Middletown. The widow of Harold A. Edwards, Mrs. Edwards was member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Middletown.
Survivors include a son, Ronald A. Edwards of Afton; a brother, Raymond Ogden of Slate Hill; a grandson, and a great-grandson.
Friends may call from7-9 p.m. today at Ralston-Lippincott Funeral Home, 72 W. Main St., Middletown.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Francis Carlson will officiate.
Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery Wawayanda.
