This Indenture made the 21st day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty six Between William White & Mary Ann his wife of the County of Augusta & State of Virginia of the one part and Daniel Shelly Jr and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars lawful money of Virginia to them in hand paid by the said Daniel Shelly Jr. the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and sold any by these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto the said Daniel Shelly Jr. his heirs and assigns all the interest in the land of her Father John Shelly which is an undivided interest adjoining the lands of Jacob Shelley, heirs John Rubush & others containing about 69 acres be the same more or less together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining. Virginia. At a County Court held in and for the County of Rockingham at the Court House thereof on Monday March 16 1891.

On the motion of the heirs of Mary Huffman, dec'd: C. T. Callender appeared in Court and together with Frederick Rodes and Joseph F. Sanfley his sureties who justified as to the Sufficiency) entered into and acknowledged a bond in the penalty of $600.00 conditional to law. A certificate is granted the said C. T. Callender for obtaining letters of administration in due ____ upon the estate of the said Mary Huffman dec'd; and the Court doth appoint Jno Meyerhoeffer David Rhodes Samuel S. Early and Abram B. Mills to appraise the Estate of the said Mary Huffman dec'd. any three of whom may act first being duly sworn. And it is entered of record that the amount of property to come into the hands of the Administrator was estimated not to exceed the sum of $300.00

Mrs. M. E. Ogden Dies Suddenly at Otisville
Mrs. Mary E. Ogden died Monday in her home at Otisville at the age of 80 years, one month and 21 days. Death came suddenly, Mrs. Ogden was born Dec. 20, 1843 at Westbrookville. Her parents were Elias and Elizabeth Silvieus. She was married in 1861 at Westbrookville, to Charles H. Ogden, and had lived for 60 years in Otisville. Prior to her marriage, Mrs. Ogden was a dressmaker.
Mrs. Ogden leaves one daughter, Nancy L., wife of J. Wallace King, of 230 Clinton avenue, Jersey City, N. J.; and one sister, Mrs. Lydia Shoemaker, of Otisville.

Mary E. Ogden prepared a will on Feb. 11, 1915. Her daughter, Nancy L. King, was appointed Executrix. She bequeathed $150 each to her grandsons, J. Harry King and G. Wallace King. Her son-in-law received $100 and her daughter Nancy inherited all her real estate and personal property. Herbert H. King and Katherine M. King of Otisville served as witnesses. Mary E. Ogden's will was probated in Orange County, NY Feb. 28, 1924. [Liber 105, page 231]

Millard E. Skinner, of 85 Franklin street, died at his home on Thursday afternoon, at about 3 o'clock. Mr. Skinner was born in Oakland Valley on December 1, 1882, a son of Lewis and Ellen Merritt Skinner. He had resided in Port Jervis for the past 37 years, where, on October 1, 1913, he was united in marriage to the former Nellie F. Ogden, of Oakland Valley, and whree he was employed as a carman by the Erie Railroad Company.
Mr. Skinner was a member of Lodge 962, Brotherhood of Railway Carmen, of Port Jervis.
Surviving him are his wife, at home, one son, LeRoy, of Plainfield, N. J.; one daughter, Katherine, wife of Roy Allen, of this city; one brother, Avery Skinner, of Cuddebackville, and one granddaughter, Patsy Allen, of this city. He is further survived by two nieces and one nephew.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home, 85 Franklin street, the Rev. Robert E. Foster officiating. Burial will be in the Laurel Grove Cemetery. Parents: Lewis Skinner and Ellen Merritt.

Jennie Eliza Ogden bequeathed her band ring, one dozen sitting chairs, and all the hens to her husband, Ira Ogden. A large picture of her mother was given to her brother, George Smith. She also left her large picture to her mother along with two easels. Her furniture, dishes, pictures, rings, and the rest of her property was bequeathed to her daughter, Ida. Jennie Eliza included in the will her wish to be buried in her mother's lot in the Mount Hope Plains Cemetery.
