He married GRACE MOLTON⁴ June 16, 1919 in Paris, Texas, daughter of RILEY MOLTON and MARTHA MORSE. She was born May 14, 1905 in Waldron, Arkansas, and died November 14, 1987 in Dallas, Texas.

THE PARIS NEWS

A. Y. Foster, 72 of 626 5th NW, died at 7:35 a,m, Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital, having
been in failing health in the past two. years. He formerly was employed 35 or 40 years at Rodgers - Wade Furniture Company plant.

Friends will be received Friday between 7:30 and 9 P.M. at Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home., where chapel service will be conducted Saturday at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Max Barton of Cherry Street, Presbyterian Church where Mr. Foster was a member, will officiate, interment to be made in the cemetery at Hopewell.Son of Jim and Ida (Killebrew Foster, A. Y. Foster was born in Mississippi, March 13, 1897.

NOTE: SEE 1900 CENSUS RECORDS WHICH STATES HE WAS 1 YEAR OLD.

He and the former Miss Grace Molton were married in Paris, June 12, 1919, their 50th wedding anniversary having been passed quietly at home last month. Besides his wife, Mr. Foster leaves a daughter and three sons" Mrs. T. C. White and Fred Foster both of Dallas; A. Y. Foster, Jr. Corpus Christi, TX and Billy Foster, 29 Palms California. Also eight grandchildren , two brothers, Carl Foster of Paris and Guyan Foster of Shreveport, LA and a half brother, Tilman Addy, Morningsport, LA

Grace name was not Grace Molton. Her birth name was Cindy Nova Grace something Attaberry.

In March 0f 1919 she came to Henkley Texas with her Mother, Stepfather Albert Hodges and step brothers. She married my Anthony Young (Big A. Y ) in June of 1919. Sometime before she married A. Y. she changed her name.

Clyde Lewis Foster, 3 1/2 year old son of A. Y. Foster and wife died Saturday night 269 West Shiloh St. The funeral sevices were held Sunday afternoon and was conducted by Rev. Mr. Bennett of Greenville, who had come to Paris to preach at Immanuel Baptist Churchwhich is without a pastor.
The remains were taken to Hopewell Cemetery west of the Cemetery.

Clyde Foster Rites Set for Today
Funeral Sevices will be held at 3;30 p.m. in Clavary Baptist Church for Clyde Foster age 66, of 116 W. 75th St., retired mill foreman of the Allen Mill Works.

Mr. Foster, a resident here for the last 28 years died Friday at 11:30 a.m. at his home following an extended illness.

He was a member of Calvary Baptist Churchand was a nitive of Kosciusko, MS THe Rev. Martin Spell pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church will officate at the service under the direction of the Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Burial will be Centuries Memorial Park.

Surviving Mr. Foster are his wife, Mrs. Edna Foster of Sheverport, two
sons, Paul J Foster and Thomas W. Foster both of Shreveport; tow daughters Mrs. William T. Locke of Keithville, and Mrs JamesE. Smith of Shreveport, four brothers , Carl and A. Y. Foster, both of Paris, Tex and Guyan Foster and, Tillman Addy, both of Shreveport and 11 grandchildren.
Pallbears will be J, W. Bruce, C.
Hawthorne, W.B. Hoffman. N. M. Hyde, Roscoe Phillips and h. L. WIlliams.
