Services at 2 p.m. Fri., July 19, in the Ramseur Baptist Church with Dr. Jay Foster and Dr. Wilbur Simmons. Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home in charge. Born in MS., son of James Monroe and Ida Killebrew Foster, married Elsie Parker, in Paris. Was a member of the Ramseur Baptist Church and was a retired appliance repairman. He was active in the Gideons. Surviving are his wife; 1 son; Dr. Jay Foster of Fayetteville, N.C.; a daughter, Mrs. Porter (Wanda) Smallwoood of Paris; 5 grandchildren, Ricky Smallwood and Vicky Swain of Paris, Nancy Warwick of Fayetteville, Terry Foster of Mooresville, Ind. and Jerry Foster of Ashland, KY.; 10 great grandchildren, and a half brother, Tillman Addy of Quinlan. Bearers were Terry Foster. Jerry Foster, John Parker, Julian Warwick, Jim Parker and Robert Ross.'
