THE PARIS NEWS, Sunday, November 12, 1972, p.8: 'Funeral services for A. Y. Foster, Jr. of Corpus Christi, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel here. Interment will be in the Hopewell Cemetery. Foster died in Corpus Christi Saturday morning. He was born July 18, 1924 in Paris, the son of A. Y. Foster, Sr. and the former Grace Molton. He married Velma Chambliss, who survives, Aug. 30, 1942. Other survivors are his mother, Mrs. Grace Molton Foster of Dallas; one daughter, Annette Foster of Corpus Christi; one son, Robert Foster of Salinas, Calif.; two brothers, Fred Foster of Twenty-nine Palms, Calif., and one sister, Mrs. T. C. White of Dallas. Foster was an employee of the Red River Arsenal for 14 years before being transferred to Corpus Christi about seven years ago. He is a member of the Baptist Church.' *Tombstone is inscribed, 'D.A. Civ. Emp. 1951-1972'. Buried next to Marie Stahl.

A. Y. Foster, Jr. 48 of 1317 Nolan, died at 8:20 am yesterday after a short illness.
A native of Paris, Texas, Foster had lived in Nueces County for seven years. He was an Accounting Clerk at ARADMAC for seven years and a member of Wake Village Masonic Lodge NO. 1346 in Wake Village, Texas.

Funeral Services will be held at Clifford Jackson Funeral Chapel in Kostoryz. Services will also be held a 2 p.m. Tuesday in Fry & GIbbs Funeral Home in Paris. Burial will be in Sumner Cemetery (NOTE: He is buried at Hopewell).

Surviors include his wife, Vilma, his mother, Mrs. Grace Foster of Dallas; one son, Robert E. Foster of Salinas, California; one daughter, Annette Y. Foster of Corpus Christi, two brothers Billy Mac Foster of Twenty-Nine Palms, California and Fred Foster of Dallas: and one sister Mrs. T. C. White of Dallas.
