Transcriber's notes:
That scratching along the bottom must be when they proved thewill(perGaryRoberts) by Agn e s Astin, widow. I can't readanythingexcept thedate (4July 1623 on the will, 1622/3 per R o berts)andEdmondLittlefield'ssignature.
I read the top of the inventory as:
"An inventory taken of the goods of Richard AttnokealiasAustinlatelydeceased by Peter Fai t hfull and Stephin Pearcy,DanielAustin,EdmondLittlefield, Richard Austin dated the 20 da y ofFebruary Anno1622."
Then it gets difficult to decipher. I see 40 shillingsforhiswearingapparel, Ä20 3s for h i s pewter, etc. Total of Ä12312s6d, musthavebeen a fortune. After all he had two "men " , a boy andamaid,7children and 7 grandchildren.
