Our research focuses outward from a central point. That point is theElton "Al" l Doane-Jean Roneker union and their families. The two base families were the Doane/Hamann and the Roneker/Heroy family groups. Our first 18 years of life cnetered on the villages of Clarence, Lancaster, and Clarence Center, Erie County, New York. Many of our ancestors moved westward to the Western New York area from the eastern New England area.
Surnames in our family are, but not limited to, DOANE (DOAN);HAMANN (HAMMON, HAMMANN);GAMIN; CORBETT, STODDARDD, UPDEGRAF; AND MANY MORE.
