Afternoon everyone,
Curently I am looking for any and all information on Donahues' who migrated to Quebec, Canada in the 1840.
More specifically, familly members and the county from Ireland they came from. Pretty sure we are from Cork county and left via one of the southern ports of the time but then I have no direct empirical fact to support my curent assumption. So far I was able to reach back as far the late 1700 and early 1800 with the two following ancestors who migrated to Québec and established their, my family line here:
Francis Donahue (born apt 1806/10 in Ireland - Died apt 1894 in St Sylvestre, Quebec Canada) Married to Hanna McCluckey ( birth and death unknown )
Francis Father & Mother: Arthur Donahue (born apt 1760 in Ireland) Catherine McCosker (born apt 1771 in Ireland)
Any help with the above ancestors and the family line would be greatly appreciated, Thanks !
