Almost every Couillard is a descendant of Guillaume and Guillemette Hebert-Couillard. They had nine children plus four foster children, three native american girls and one child from Madagascar that English privateers left in Quebec. Only three were sons carrying the Couillard name forward. They are: Louis, sieur de L'Espinay born May 1629 in Quebec and married Genevieve Despres in 1653. Guillaume, sieur des Chenes born Jan 1635. Charles-Nicholas, sieur des Islets et Beaumont born May 1647 and married Marie-Francoise Pasquier in 1668. She died about 1689 and he remarried. I know the two had at least one son, Charles M Couillard, sieur de Beaumont. I hope this is helpful.
