Brief History that I have found already.

Germain Laverdure Doucet born in 1596, Immigrated to Nova Scotia, Canada with D'Aulnay, from Vienna France who was one of the first settlers to come. Germain was not only a tutor for D'Aulnay's children, but became his personal and confidential administrator-manager. After establishing settlements, these first men sent for recruits to come to populate and establish a colony. Colonists came permanently to cultivate the land, resettle themselves, and to engage in the trading of furs, dried fish, and wood.
