Children of Unknown and Mary are:
1 i.   Ambrose Harrison Duncan, born Bet. 1745 - 1750; died 1828 in Granville County N.C; married (1) Martha (Patsy ) Slaughter; married (2) Martha Slaughter.
ii.   William Duncan, born 1749; died 02 Oct 1835 in Greenville District, South Carolina; married Sarah Turner 23 Aug 1780 in Granville County N.C.
  Notes for William Duncan:
William Duncan was a revolutionary soldier who served in Granville County N.C. under Captain Glover. John Hart a lieutenant made affidavit to that effect so that his widow Sarah would be able to draw a pension on his behalf. There was a request for an affidavit from George Duncan of Granville County to verify his service in the revolutionary war. George Duncan also served under Captain Glover. There is nothing to say that they are brothers, but it is my strong belief. This request for a pension was made in the Greenville District of South Carolina by his widow Sarah.

iii.   George Duncan?, born 1753; married Mary (Polly) Slaughter 01 May 1781 in Granville County N.C.
  iv.   John Duncan?
  v.   Peter Duncan?
