this tree represents the information I have gathered to date regarding my birth family. I have always known my great-grandmother (through letters and phone calls) I have taken great care to ONLY include names and information that I have been able to verify by cross matching records. There is much more that I have yet to veriy. The process s sometimes persistence...sometimes luck. Anyway. here it is. for any interested party. MY FAMILY RESEARCH
Searching for all biological relatives (this page) slow progress...I am motiviated by the occasional discovery that is proven to be a connection to my family.
The goal is to get the information together logically and accurately and make it available for the enjoyment, entertainment, and or benefit of all concerned.
To any biological family members who happen to find this site:
I am adopted...having ony one clue as to the family I came from. My Great-Grand mother (bio) sent cards on major holidays until the time of her death in 1990. I have always known the meaning of adoption. Interest in my biological faimly is not to become involved...but only to discover any pattern of activities, employment, talents, abilities, and personality traits (etc.) that are common to more than one generation of closely related individuals. Also I would like to be aware of any pattern of lower ability or repeated personality "quirks" that are common. If I try to accept those areas as natural or un "natural" for me, I may avoid feeling inadequate. ( it happens) I can alter my approach to many things that have been struggling with in life. The science of what is inherited and what is environmental is not in question, it is just my personal desire to feel sure that I have done everything I can to know myself--and therefore become more available emotionally to take on the rest of my life...prepared-so to speak. I feel that I am, or may be, missing critical information that will help me understand my ultimate purpose in life. I may be overlooking and/or ignoring some innate ability or tendency to excel in areas that I have thus far never explored simply because I do not recognize the possibility for success exists.
I believe that in order to know where I should "go"...I must also know where I have already "been."
