132. Thomas (George?) Frazier ⁽⁴⁷⁾⁽¹⁵⁴⁾⁽¹⁵⁶⁾ was born in Inverness, Scotland.⁽⁹¹⁾⁽¹⁵³⁾ Thomas Frazier Sr., immigrated from Inverness, Scotland to Pennsylvania ca 1746 with his two brothers. After his marriage to Mary Pugh they lived around the present day York County, Pennsylvania. To this marriage was born Samuel Frazier. Thomas and Mary along with her parents came to the Hillsboro district of Orange County, North Carolina, on Sandy Creek in the year of 1750. This is the present day Randolph County, Columbia Township.

133. Mary Pugh⁽¹⁵⁴⁾ was born in County Pembroke, South Wales.⁽⁹¹⁾⁽¹⁵³⁾ She was buried in North Carolina.⁽²²⁶⁾ Flags: Foreign Born=Y Children were:

i. Samuel Frazier⁽¹⁵⁴⁾⁽²²⁷⁾ was born on 10 Apr 1749 in Pennsylvania.⁽²²⁸⁾⁽¹⁵³⁾ He died on 10 Apr 1839 in Rhea Co., Tennessee.⁽²²⁸⁾ Was born in Pennsylvania and was brought with his family, to Orange County, North Carolina (presently Randolph County) in 1750.

He served in the Revolutionary War at the battle of Kings Mountain and Guilford Court House (He was a Quaker)

Samuel had land grants in Guilford County after the Revolutionary War.

Moved to Tennessee around 1794

ii. George Frazier Sr.⁽¹⁵⁴⁾⁽¹⁵³⁾⁽²²⁹⁾ was born in 1751 in Randolph Co., North Carolina.⁽²³⁰⁾ He died in Feb 1835 in Randolph Co., North Carolina.⁽¹⁵³⁾⁽²³¹⁾ Died on his farm. George Frazier Sr. had 14 children and 2 wives. He farmed and raised cattle.
He had a land grant on Baufflo (?) Creek and Sandy Creek.

George Frazier Sr. was a soldier in the Revolutionary War and was at the battle of Cowpens and Guilford Court-House.

iii. Thomas Frazier Jr.⁽¹⁵⁴⁾⁽¹⁵³⁾⁽²³²⁾ was born in 1752 in Orange or Guilford Co., North Carolina.⁽¹⁵⁴⁾⁽¹⁵⁴⁾⁽²³³⁾ Ida Menge shows birth in Randolph Co., North Carolina He died in 1842 in Greene Co., Tennessee.⁽²³⁴⁾ ⁽²³⁵⁾ Moved to Greene Co., Tennessee, ca 1794. Was not a Quaker.

Many of Thomas and Sarah Frazier's children went on to Indiana and Iowa and probably joined some North Carolina uncles and cousins there.

v. John Frazier⁽⁸⁹⁾⁽¹⁵³⁾⁽¹⁵⁶⁾ was born in 1757 in Randolph Co., North Carolina.⁽¹⁵⁴⁾ ⁽²³⁷⁾ He died in 1843.⁽²³⁸⁾ John Frazier stayed in Guilford County, North Carolina and was a Quaker. He had a large family.

Phil Barnes at the time of his compiling the FGS states: "Identification of this John Frazier as the John Frazier who was son of George/Thomas is highly circumstantial and not proved -- possible, perhaps probable."
vi. Elizabeth Frazier⁽¹⁵⁴⁾⁽¹⁵³⁾ was born on 19 Dec 1761 in Randolph Co., North Carolina.⁽²³⁹⁾ She died on 4 Nov 1842.⁽²⁴⁰⁾ Moved to Indiana

vii. Isaac Frazier⁽⁸⁹⁾⁽¹⁵⁴⁾⁽¹⁵³⁾ was born on 19 Jan 1763 in Guilford Co., North Carolina.⁽²⁴¹⁾ He died on 23 Jan 1846 in Sugar Plain MM, Boone Co., Indiana.⁽¹⁵⁶⁾ Isaac Frazier was a blacksmith and a distiller in North Carolina. He left North Carolina with his children after his wife died, about 1828, and lived with his brother Francis in Indiana where he went blind and lived there until his death. Most of his grandchildren later moved into Iowa.

James Frazier, his son Francis, and his Grandson Francis were all blacksmiths, renowned locally for their cowbells.

In 1818, James Frazier fell into disfavor with his Quaker brethren, and was disowned for disunity.
