Fairfield Journal, Sat. Jan 8 1916 3-2. G. J. Emry of Pleasant Plain died yesterday
noon. Buried at Pleasant Plain. Brother of T. J. Emry and an uncle of Miss
Martha Emry and Roy Emry of this city. He was about 50 years of age and is survived
by a son and a daughter.
He was married to Jane "Janie" Jones (daughter
of Riley Jones and Elizabeth Hoskins)

Jane Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Riley Jones, and wife of Geo. J. Emry, died
in Penn Township Nov 13. Typhoid fever. Married Jan. 14 1892 and was in the
34th year of her age. Husband and a babe of little more than a week survive
her. She was buried in Pleasant Plain Friends Cemetery, Jefferson Co., Iowa.
