Frank Emry, David Emry ... and others ... Spring Bank MM was set up Mar. 25,
1882, in this frame school house by Pleasant Plain quarterly Meeting, Iowa, with
J.J. Andrews as clerk. David Emry, Leah J. Paxson and Eleanor Pickard attended
the opening by appointment of the Quarterly Meeting. Charter members included
John Q. Emry and Eleanor Emry, his wife; Ross and Josie Emry, their children."
In reference to Spring Bank and elk Valley meetings, "John q. Emry was
recorded a minister, Aug 25, 1883." He died on 22 Oct 1904 in Norden, Keyapaha
